Soultana Ellinidou, PhD is a Cyber Security Engineer at Thales, currently working at CyberLab. She holds a PhD Degree in Engineering Sciences and Technology from the Cybersecurity Research Center at Université Libre de Bruxelles. With a wide range of professional interests, Soultana is particularly passionate about projects related to Hardware Security, Cyber Security, Network Virtualization, and OT Systems. Prior to joining Thales, Soultana worked as a Teaching Assistant at Université Libre de Bruxelles, where she taught the first-year Master course "Communication networks: protocols and architectures." She also conducted lab sessions using the GNS3 simulator, focusing on the CISCO environment, Cisco IOS modes, static routing, dynamic routing, network address translation (NAT), virtual LAN (VLAN), and IPv6-tunneling. Soultana's projects during her time at the university included Shallot Routing and Blockchain. Soultana's PhD thesis was titled "Protocols and algorithms for secure Software Defined Network-on-chip," and she also worked on the research project "Self-Organising circuits For Interconnected, Secure and Template computing (SOFIST)," which was funded by the ARC (Concerted Research Action, Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles) grant. Soultana's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Université Libre de Bruxelles and an Engineer's degree in the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Western Macedonia. Soultana's technical skills include research scientist, blockchain, and iOS. She has 2.78 years of relevant experience in the field of Cyber Security Engineering.
